Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Foomingo. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

2. Your content

You own the reviews, ratings, photos, and videos you post (“Your Content”). By posting, you grant Foomingo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute Your Content within the Service so it can function as intended. You’re responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to share it.

3. Community rules

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or paid reviews, or reviews for a place you haven’t genuinely visited.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others, or post hateful, illegal, or infringing content.
• Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with a restaurant or business.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, to keep the community safe and trustworthy.

4. Restaurant & business accounts

If you claim a restaurant, you confirm you’re authorized to represent it. Paid plans (e.g., Pro and Featured) are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Foomingo name, logo, and software, is owned by Foomingo and protected by law. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

6. Third-party content & services

Foomingo uses third-party services (such as Google Maps Platform) and displays information about restaurants that may come from third parties. We don’t guarantee the accuracy of restaurant details, hours, or availability, and aren’t responsible for third-party services.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foomingo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You can stop using Foomingo and delete your account at any time (see our Account Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
